AHEC Scholars Community Healthcare Fellowship

East Indiana AHEC is excited to announce a new program for health professions students: the AHEC Scholars Community Healthcare Fellowship.

The AHEC Scholars Community Healthcare Fellowship is open to students in the final two years of an accredited health professions program who are residents of or who attend college in the East Indiana AHEC service region.

AHEC Scholars will come away from the fellowship ready to enter the health professions workforce with a deeper understanding of providing healthcare to underserved populations, working in interprofessional teams, and caring for patients in the context of rural communities. Participants will receive a stipend of $750 per year to support participation in the program.
