Summer Pathways

Summer is a great time for high school students to participate in health careers exploration activities.  Most summers, East Indiana AHEC works with our college and clinical partners to provide health careers activities such as day camps, healthcare-specific college visits, and field trips to clinical sites.

For 2025, our summer program partners include the Hanover College Summer Academy for a week-long residential health sciences camp and the IU East School of Nursing and Health Science in collaboration with Reid Health for a three-day camp focused on nursing skills.

Generally, registration for these types of health career exploration summer camps happens via the websites of our college partners.  Hanover and IU East make registration materials available early in the spring semester - check their websites!
